Thank you!

Todays post and my weekend has been inspired by Blaze.

A few weeks ago I got one of her penny playlists and have been listening to "Spring Mix 2008, Leaves are coming" and have been so inspired by "Comtine D'un Autre Ete" a track from "Amelie". So much so that I decided to rewatch the film on Saturday afternoon. I love it, I love Paris, I love the wrought iron elevator casings, the wallpaper in the characters appartments, the comic strip style of the film and so much more. I was also given a beautiful bunch of sunflowers by my friend H, which got me to thinking about Van Gogh, which I haven't done for a long time. I then realised there was a sort of French Connection to my weekend and I am going to carry the mood through my week.

I have some uncreative work to finish over the next couple of weeks so I am taking little bits of time to fill my moleskins with ideas that I can get into when this other work is done. It has dawned on me that I need to tie up some loose ends to allow myself to get stuck into my new shop designs, but I can still make a little time for play while I'm doing it. So I have taken the pressure off myself to get new things made, untill I have cleared up some unfinished business which has been hanging over me for ages.

In the mean time what tune is filling your head with inspiration just now?

Oh I love the the movie, Amelie! Such a great story & beautiful. I'm very, very motivated & inspired right now. I'm about to introduce a whole new brand & am getting so much inspiration from it. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us!
